Unity Power Ltd has extensive experience delivering High Voltage (HV) Testing & Commissioning Services for Electrical Systems operating above 1,000V AC or 1,500V DC, typically up to and including 132kV. We provide specialist Testing, Inspection, Commissioning and Energisation support across the Industrial, Commercial and Energy Transition / Renewable Energy sectors, ensuring new and existing Electrical Infrastructure is safe, compliant and ready for operation.

Our services include the Testing and Commissioning of HV Switchgear, Transformers, Protection & Control Systems, Cabling Infrastructure and Substations. Working alongside DNOs, ICPs, EPC Contractors and Asset Owners, our experienced Engineers ensure that systems are fully verified and commissioned in accordance with Project specifications, industry standards and operational requirements.

Such Testing & Commissioning Projects that we have been involved in have been critical for large-scale Power Distribution in Industrial Plants, Data Centres, Hospitals and Renewable Energy sites including Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), Solar Farms and Wind Farms.

    Pre-Commissioning Planning

    We develop detailed Commissioning Plans, Test Schedules and Procedures to ensure all systems are tested safely, efficiently and in accordance with Project requirements prior to Energisation.

    Protection & Control Testing

    We undertake Protection Relay Testing, Scheme Verification and Functional Testing to ensure Protection Systems operate correctly and provide the required network security and fault clearance.

    Switchgear Testing & Commissioning

    Our Engineers carry out Testing and Commissioning of HV Switchgear, Circuit Breakers and associated equipment to verify performance, functionality and operational readiness.

    Transformer Testing

    We undertake Commissioning activities for Power and Distribution Transformers, including inspection, testing and verification of Transformer Protection Systems and associated equipment.

    Cable Testing

    We provide HV Cable Testing services including Insulation Resistance Testing, Sheath Testing, Continuity Testing and VLF Testing to confirm Cable integrity and suitability for service.

    Substation Commissioning

    Our team manages and delivers complete Substation Commissioning activities, ensuring all Electrical Systems operate safely and correctly before Handover and Energisation.

    Energisation Support

    We provide experienced Commissioning Engineers and SAP support to manage Energisation activities, system switching and final network integration safely and efficiently.
